Building Search Engine Friendly Pages

Of course, all web designers and business owners want their websites to do great in search engines.  Doing SEO on your website is not something you have to do after your site is complete, but should be the first thing in your mind from day one of your web design project.

In this article we will discuss better ways of doing search engine optimization for your website by building search engine friendly web pages.

  1. Research for your keywords and determine what people are searching for when they are checking out a site the same as yours. List down the most important two or three word phrases, write them in big letters, and pin them somewhere so you can easily see them when you build your site.
  2. The first 50 words of your content on any page are very important, then the next and the next. After that, the importance from the point of view of search engines is less, thus write your precious first 50 words with utmost care by incorporating your chosen key phrases for that particular page.
  3. Create and write effective page titles since they matter a lot when it comes to search engines and will appear underlined and bolded in the search results. Get your most important key phrases into them.

Put text on your pages, such as a short paragraph, which is rich in phrases, and keywords that will allow you to catch the attention of the visitor without ruining the brilliance of your web design.

Talk to your website designers on how you could make your website pages more search engine friendly as it is an important process in your SEO campaign. Remember to come back regularly on your pages and continue to tweak them so that you can achieve the best results.
